WIN Lava Lunch – The ONLY Lunch Tote for Hot Food

  Win Lava Lunch

disclosure2

A few weeks ago I was introduced to Lava Lunch – the ONLY lunch tote for hot food. I remember as a child that if we wanted hot lunch we were sent off with a thermos flask in tow but that pretty much limits your selection to well….soup and ya’ll know that’s not what kids want to take to school for lunch!

The lady who designed Lava Lunch, Melissa Zimberg, is a mom of two and attributes the inspiration for developing the hot-lunch tote to personal experience and understanding what all moms want – to be able to provide their families with a healthy, hot meal; and to be able to do it in a way that is stylish, budget friendly, sustainable, and  kid and earth friendly. Inspiration for Lava Lunch came after her first son was born, when she was informed of his food intolerance and she soon discovered the difficulty in accommodating a healthy diet.

Lava Lunch is the first, and only, lunchbox available that keeps its contents Hot so that you don’t have to pack the same old boring sandwich anymore.

The number of schools with little or no lunch preparation facility is growing each year but with this you don’t need to plus seriously….how cute is it?!

LavaLunch places no limits on usage, is flexible, soft-sided, light weight, easy to use, and activates in minutes. It is made of BPA-free, Phalate-free, toxin-free materials. The warming material is made of an organic food-grade substance that can never leak, and can be reused thousands of times, so there’s no waste.  Did ya know a family of four could save $100,000 over a 30 year career by bringing a sack lunch from home?

Head to the Lava Lunch site and you’ll find that they’ve got some recipes listed on their blog and they’re looking for more recipes from Moms.  You can buy a tote over there and submit your recipe at the same time!
