When Diapers are Cheap, You Deserve a Caramel Macchiato

Some of you are new around here, brought here by the amazing diaper deals this week. So, I wanted to make sure you understood so that you can get giddy, save money and then run off and treat yourself!

Walgreens

Get $5 in RRs when you buy 3 or more participating Huggies, Kotex, Cottonelle, Depend, Poise, Viva or Scott products.
Buy 3 packs of Huggies at $8.99 each
Included: Huggies Supreme Jumbo, Huggies Supreme Newborn OR Huggies Snug & Dry Jumbo
Use 3 x $3 off here ( enter zip 34986)
Receive $5 in Register Rewards.
You’ll spend $17.97 out of pocket and receive $5 back.
Final Price: $12.97/3 packs

At this point you can do one of two things:

  1. Keep those Register Rewards for another time
  2. Spend them in another transaction that day.

However, you can’t spend them on the diapers again or you won’t receive another reward and the diapers will be full price.
Decide how much money you want to have to spend at Walgreens and then work on getting that. For example, I may think: Ok I could use about $20 here so I’ll do the transaction 4 times and get 4 x $5 in Register Rewards back that I know I’ll spend in two weeks before they expire.
The good news is: These can also be used at Jewel so if you get crazy and get lots of them, you can use them there.

CVS

Firstly, you’re going to need a loyalty card at CVS. It’s easy to do and costs nothing. Then you can do this:

Grab 2 packs of Pampers Jumbo Pk diapers or Easy Ups $8.97
Use 2 x $2 off Cruisers coupon from P&G 2/21/10, $1.50 off diapers/pants/Easy Ups from P&G 2/7/10
Pay $17.94 out of pocket (or less dependant on coupons)
Receive $3 ECB
Final Price: $3.97 for each pack
Limit 2 packs per household

Now you have $6 in ECBs to spend at CVS. you’ve got a month to do it though so you could wait or spend them there and then on items you need.

I hope that helps! How many packs are you guys getting?!

Comments

  1. I've never commented here before, but I wanted to mention a couple things after just doing these 2 deals:
    1) At Walgreens, stop at the pharmacy to request a Children's Activity Book (99 cents). Use the store coupon inside the front cover to get an additional $1 off each package of diapers!

    2) At CVS, I bought 2 packages of Pampers, but my receipt says that I am still eligible to buy a third & receive ECBs. So, check your receipt before you leave the store! 🙂

  2. Anonymous says:

I got two at CVS and they also have their "mega" size pampers on clearance for half off! Anyone have any luck trying to buy a third pack and still get ECB?

  3. Dawn,
Unfortunately that coupon is for non-sale items. The diapers are already on sale. Stinky stink!
Yay at CVS though: was 3 the limit?
Glad to see you comment, thanks!
