When a deal is too good to be true……………..

Yesterday I wrote a post that you got free food/gas when you bought an appliance. See here. It’s really sad but I’ve heard from a couple of people that the company fulfilling this prize is in a class action lawsuit. What saddens me is that Grant’s Appliance would use them unknowingly. Today my friend, April, presented me with an article from the Post Tribune about it. You can read an interesting article here. If you did this deal or know anyone that did, I would alert them immediately. You should probably try and take the appliance back if you just did it for that.
I just emailed Grant’s to let them know. Yikkeees, shnikkkees!

I had bought a tv from Grants under this program. It’s claimyourgas.com. I mailed in receipts and am waiting my Feb. $25.00 gift card . I will let you know what happens.

  2. I did this deal for groceries, but I was going to get the stove anyway. I thank you so much for bringing this to my attention and will be looking out to see what will happen. Lots of companies have class action lawsuits though so hopefully everything will be fine. I will definitly go back to Grants with a huge complaint and hopes of them doing something nice for me if I can not get my $500 groceries!
