Wendy’s Cookie Dough Balls Recipe

cookie dough balls recipe

A few months ago my friend Wendy made her Cookie Dough Balls Recipe for our family and Isaac kept eating and eating and well….you get the picture! So much so that she left us with more (gee, thanks girl! LOL!) and I promptly froze them only to pull them out again when we had guests over. They froze great and if you love cookie dough but don’t want to mess with salmonella poisoning from the raw eggs then this is the recipe for you!

It’s eggless, doesn’t need baking AND is freezable! Yup it’s no wonder Wendy keeps making this and they’re a hit everywhere so I asked her for the recipe and she agreed.

Chocolate Covered Cookie Dough Balls

  • 1 cup of butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 cup of mini chocolate chips
  • Melting chocolate or chocolate disks
  • Sweetheart candy

  1. Cream butter and sugar
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients
  3. Roll into balls and refrigerate until firm.
  4. Crush the candy into small pieces.
  5. Melt the chocolate in the microwave and then dip the balls in there. Place on a plate and sprinkle candy over them.
  6. Store in the fridge or freezer (if they keep that long!)

I love cookies and I love cookie swaps! Every year three friends and I get together and swap cookies. We don’t see each other a lot throughout the year and it’s always fun to grab lunch, see how the kids have grown and exchange some laughs and some chocolate! This year as I love Pinterest I thought it would be fun to do a Cookie Exchange there so i created the Cookie Swap board.
