It’s funny what we prioritize isn’t it? As I sit here my house isn’t clean, there is a pile of laundry that needs to go in the washing machine and a pile of dishes that need to hit the dishwasher. And yet I blog! As Mums we need an outlet and for sure this is mine so I guess we can count it as therapy. It’s fairly cheap therapy at that if you don’t count all the shopping trips and bottles of mouthwash I stockpile!

This week I was thinking about the things I’ve been putting off for another day. I’ve realized begrudgingly that fall is here and the projects around my house that I put off to go to the pool are now in need of some attention. So, I started with the easy one first. I pulled the cabinet hardware that we’ve had for months out of the garage and put them on the cabinets. Then I got in the cleaning mood and cleaned all my cabinets while I was at it.

So what is it that you’ve been putting off for a while? This week why not attempt to finish one of those projects. Add a post about it on your blog with pictures and then link back to here so we can all see. If you don’t have a blog, send me a picture and a little story about what you tackled and I’ll post it. Now, go on, what you doing still reading this??!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :>)Now if only we could get rid of that 70s style green laminate!

Comments

  1. I quite like the 70’s green laminate. Doubt my hubby would go for it though.

  2. Looking good!!! Sometimes it is the simple things that make a dramatic difference.

  3. heehee, to answer your question, I’m still in the UK, born and bred Brummie now living in Telford.

  4. Love the new knobs & the green countertop!

  5. Sometimes it takes just doing a small thing to help us get motivated to do the other things. Great tackle!:D

  6. It looks so nice. You have to go to the pool in the summertime. The projects will be there later.
