Tips and Tricks – Minor Auto Repairs

Jessica sent me this little tip that was a goodie and worth a post:
Do-it-yourself car maintenance! Recently, one of my brake lights went out. I called a local service center to see how much they charge to replace and it was $20 ($2 for light, $18 for labor). I decided to get out my owner’s manual and do it myself. I picked up two brake lights at Auto Zone for $5 and did it less than three minutes. The kids even helped me and the hubby was pretty impressed that I attempted it alone.
Thanks, Jessica! Got a tip or trick? Shoot me an email!
