Habakkuk 3: 17 says,
Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.
Right now with the economy the way it is, it’s so easy for us to say, “but we don’t have money for travel and we can’t buy expensive gifts this year.” Let’s face it, things are bad but they could be worse. There are some places in the world where they live on $2 and can only eat once a day. Once. I am so thankful that I live where I live, that we have a roof over our heads and food on the table. That even though hubby needs a new job, I know God will provide and give us peace while He’s providing.
Every day I give thanks and praise God for the many things he’s given me – for my husband and for my son but most of all for his son, Jesus.
Today, I want to take the chance to say thanks to you for reading, commenting and keep me accountable. I am enjoying this journey and thank you for taking time to be on it with me. Happy Thanksgiving!
