Sunsweet Giveaway

This week I’ve got a couple of giveaways coming up but here’s the first one!

I don’t know about you but in the past the thought of prunes was a “yucko” kind of thought. That was until I got pregnant and realised how awesome those little things are. I didn’t wanna drink the juice (yucko!) but eating a couple a day was good for me and they’re actually tasty! I’m sure like me you’ve seen the ads for the new Sunsweet Ones which is why when they contacted me to do a giveaway I was excited to try them!

Sunsweet Ones™ are individually wrapped prunes, with tons of great benefits. Ones are the ultimate superfruit – each serving is packed with antioxidants, fiber and potassium, meeting your diet and lifestyle needs.

They’re kinda like candy and really very good. More than that, they’re convenient to take with you as a quick snack. We tested them on my friend’s little girl who’s 6 and she looked in disgust then took a bite and realised how good they were. Well, today you’re in luck because I’m giving not one, not two but 10 canisters of these away so there’ll be 10 winners! So for those of you who don’t enter because you don’t think you’ll win, how’s that for odds??!!

All you’ve got to do is leave a comment below. That’s it!
Want more ways to win? Blog about the contest on your site and lemme know.

Contest closes on Sunday March 8th at midnight and the winner will be picked randomly (by random.org) and announced on Monday March 9th. Don’t forget to leave a way for me to contact you!

Some call them dried plums. Some call them prunes. What they really are is a good way to stave off pangs of hunger. Keep ’em in the desk drawer at work.

  12. My daughter had a nasty little habit of getting up at night and sneaking candy and chips. All we would find the next day would be wrappers littering her room…under her pillow…in the closet. Well we dicided that she wouldn’t have snacks for a while. If she wanted a treat it had to be healthy. We had the thought that prunes would be a great way to “teach her a lesson”. We had the same old school thought process that only grandparents liked prunes. We were mistaken. What started out as a punishment turned into one of her favorite treats!

  13. Angela O says:

Oooh, sign me up! I’d love to give these to my dad!

  16. The Jewish holiday of Purim is this week and on Purim we eat a sweet treat called hamantashen. It’s a delicious triangular-shaped pastry with fruit filling. I remember my grandmother making them many years ago and I still have her recipe. Anyway, guess what my FAVORITE flavor hamantash is? You guessed it! PRUNE!!! It’s sweet and satisfying and not yucky like some people think. I would be thrilled to win the prunes!

I love prunes! It sounds crazy, but I’ve like them since I was a kid. I didn’t care for raisins though, too “dry”. They’re addicting. I have to measure out how much I’m going to eat or I’ll eat the entire canister.
