New to CVS? Confused by all the ECB talk? I highly recommend visiting my CVS 411 before heading out! If you need some rolling ideas check out this post.

New around here? Thanks for stopping by! I’m a frugal Mummy here in Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana who covers local deals, national deals and we’ve usually got giveaways going on! Plus every Monday I do Granny’s Deals where everything is free. Check out the archives for some older deals that are probably still good and stop back each Monday for new freebies. Cheap is good, free is better!

  1. Carolyn says:

I stopped at my CVS is Kenosha WI and they have a clearance on Dry Idea deodorant. Each bottle is $1.19 which, combined with the $2.00 Dry Idea coupons found here:
makes them MONEY MAKERS!!! I picked up 10 and will hunt for more…..

  2. Hi –

I was in CVS yesterday. The clerk was VERY rude, and she was also the manager, so we couldn’t complain. The my daughter(14) left her seventeen magizene on the counter with he $1 off NYC products coupon. We went back in, they had thrown it in the trash. The manager was soo.. mean to my daughter – my daughter fairly melted into the ground. We never got her coupon back.

Anyway, she said when you use coupons you can’t use an ECB? I have a $7 ECB – so that means I can’t use it in a trans. when I have coupons? And, she said that to use the $3 off $15 coupon, the total purchase has to be $15 AFTER all coupons. Is all this true? This was my second time at CVS…and it didn’t make me want to come back (my daughter says she’ll never go back in).

PS – I love your site!

  3. Carolyn — Funny, I didn’t think there were many other CVSers in Kenosha because the store there is often well-stocked with ECB items. I live in Chicago but always try to stop in the K-town store when I visit my parents because the employees are so nice and they often have stuff that has been cleaned out in my local store.
Thanks for the Dry Idea tip — I’m gonna pass that on to readers of my own blog!
