  1. Had to let you know that this week I spent $105 at CVS and was only oop $35.06 AND got $22 back in ECB!!! woohoo!! I got loads of groceries due to them being on offer and having cupons and got all my stationary FREE! and I had $5 off a $30 spend 🙂 Seriously I am hooked on CVS too!

also — along the bottom of the FREE BTS page — buy any stationery item, get a marker, highlighter or pen for 1 cent

There was not a sale on the Blink or Softsoap products. Could this be for the week of 8/9?

I had a question about the electrosol. If you get it can you use the ECB fom that(the $10) to buy the school supply and still get ECB from those? Is it the same like walgreens where you can roll them into other items and get money back as long as they are not the same brand?

  5. FYI… I have been able to buy TWO Softsoap Nutri Serums and get the ECBs!! It is rumored on a couple sites that the actual limit is 5. Has anyone bought that many and got the ECBs? I have $5.98 in ECB, and I'm tempted to buy two more using (2)-$2 coupons and coming away with $8 ECBs! But, I'm nervous, cause I want to have ECBs to rollover.

  6. Yes you can absolutely roll the school supplies into Electrasol or vice versa. I just did it last night without a hitch. As far as Softsoap goes, you may just have to try it for us all Kristen! let us know if you do!

  7. PS CVS is unlike Walgreens in that IT CAN be the same brand! EG Buy one pair or scissors for $2.99 then use the $2.99 ECBS to buy the other pair. Tick of the cashier? Maybe! 2 pairs of free scissors for $2.99 out of pocket? Yuppers!

How do you collect ECBs? Does it come out when you purchase the item, like at Walgreens?

  9. Anonymous, It comes out at the bottom of the receipt. Check out my CVS 411 for more info. It's a great place to shop!

  10. I made a small CVS discovery… I went to a 24-hour store Saturday night for my first transaction. This happened before midnight, so the manager manually printed the ECBs. Those ECBs were rounded to $1 instead of $0.99! Sunday when I went to get more school supplies, I noticed on my receipt that the purchases from the previous night were not on there! So, I repeated Saturday nights purchase and received all the ECBs again! YAY!

I just found out from a CVS customer service rep that the East Coast ads are different from the West Coast ads. That is why I could not find the Blink as well as the SoftSoap deals. Mystery solved.
