My friend Rebecca has been eating the Paleo way long before the Paleo diet was so famous and she loves creating new low-carb recipes. I was at her house last week and she served me this. I always feel like low-carb recipes make me hungry still but not only did this fill my tummy but it sure tasted good too. Thanks Becs!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts or tenderloins.
- 16oz frozen green beans
- 2 packets of onion soup mix
- 1 can of mushrooms or 8oz fresh
- 1 1/2 cups of water
- 8oz onion and chive cream cheese or plain.
Instructions
- Slice the chicken into strips.
- Place in the crock pot and top with the other ingredients.
- Cook on low for 4 hours.
- Remove the lid and add the cream cheese.
- Cook for a further 15 minutes.
- Serve alone.
