Slow Cooker Mondays: Juicy Ham Roast

Crock Pot Ham

Turn a simple roast into an amazing one using a can of pop. I’ve found that dark pop works the best as it caramelizes so well and sticks to the roast. Brenda told me that she uses root beer with ham.

This Crock pot ham recipe is really simple to make and that’s why it’s a favorite in our house.  I put it ion in the morning and let it cook all day and then serve with cheesy potatoes and a vegetable.  Yum-o!

When ham is cheap around the holidays, grab one and make this.  Then the next day you can either have leftovers or freeze some for a busy day!

Simply add your meat to the crockpot and pour a can of pop over the top. Cook on low for around 6-8 hours.

It’s Slow Cooker Monday! What’s in your pot?

It isn’t as healthy but my family sure does love the Slow Cooker Cheesy Chicken Balls recipe.

Every Monday I come up with a Crock Pot recipe.  If you have one, link up with us or check out the archives or see my Pinterest pins!

  1. Looks delicious! I’ve always wondered if cooking with soda really makes a difference in the taste. I’ll have to try it out! I wish I had some gorgeous picture of my slow cooking to add to this linky–maybe someday! But I wanted to let you know that I added your hop to the blog hop directory at http://events4bloggers.com !
