Follow Me on Pinterest

This week’s Slow Cooker recipe comes from a dear friend. It’s an amazing recipe which uses relatively cheap meat and is a fun crowd pleaser (I know coz I’ve had it at her house!) Here’s the recipe for Aunt Judy’s Ribs that feeds 2 people.

Ingredients

  • 2# country style ribs
  • 1 medium onion loosely chopped
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 2 T vinegar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. bottled chili sauce
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Bring all ingredients to a boil/ Cook slowly for a few minutes
  2. Brown ribs in broiler OR baker for one hour and drain
  3. Add ribs to a slow cooker and cover with sauce.
  4. Cook on low 4-6 hours or high 1-2 hours.
