Slow Cooker Mondays: Apple Pork Chops

Although I don’t profess to be the greatest cooks some days I feel inspired and try something new.  Of course it’s got to be easy but I just figured it may work.  As it’s in my slow cooker today I’m taking you down with me: in other words this is a non-tested recipe!  Anyone in?

Apples are in season and I love pork and apples so why not bake them really slow?

Ingredients

  1. Pork chops ( I used 3 bone-in ones I had)
  2. 1 TBSP honey
  3. 1 apple, roughly chopped

Directions

  • Arrange the pork chops in the slow cooker and pour honey over them.
  • Add the apples, ensuring you get pieces on each pork chop so that the honey and apples caramelize over them.
  • Cook on low 6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours.

Now what to serve it with?!
