Rosemary Lemon Salt Scrub

Lemon Rosemary Salt Scrub

Another great Mothers Day craft for kids is this Rosemary Lemon Salt Scrub. Sure normally you rub rosemary and lemon onto a chicken {see my fave grilled chicken recipe!} but salt is a great exfoliant and lemon makes your skin feel all tingly. Add in some EVO {wow now I hear Rachael Ray cooking in my head!} and you’ve got a great homemade sugar scrub. This one is not for your face but better as a body scrub. Simply add a little onto your hands and scrub your body and then rinse.

Use the free printables I made for you to add some pizazz!

  1. This is such a delicious scrub!!! The scent must be wonderful. I’ll be making this for sure! My husband love scrubs for his hands because they get so dry.
Thanks for joining ON THE MENU MONDAY and sharing a beauty product from the kitchen!

I bet that smells awesome! Thanks for linking it up at Monday Funday!

    • It does! But fortunately not like the stuff you put on chicken or it’d feel weird! Thanks for visiting!

  3. Ooh, this sounds lovely! I just love the smell of rosemary. I’ve never seen a scrub “recipe” with it before. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Just wondering, can I use fresh rosemary instead of dried? How would fresh rosemary affect the scrub? I.e. shelf life.

    • I don’t think I would Gloria as the dried herb is also abrasive enough to act a little like a scrub and then it wouldn’t last nearly as long. Hope that helps!
