I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE my Swiffer products so when I was asked to do a Review of the Swiffer Sweep & Trap that hits Walmart shelves today, I jumped at the chance and here’s my honest review.
This little guy is super cute but at 3 he’s also pretty messy.
Sadly for this little guy it’s his job to sweep and that’s not usually a job he wants until the day we got the Swiffer Sweep & Trap in the mail and my kiddos deemed it their new favorite toy which is a real winner for me!
Look at how clean he’s already getting the floor! No dustpan needed (Which usually results in a mess anyway!) The little thing in the front picks up the dirt and stores it in back until Mummy empties it out.
Swiffer Sweep & Trap uses rotating blades to pick up large particles and flicks them into a dirt bin. At the same time, the attached Swiffer Sweeper dry cloth traps dirt, dust and hair that brooms can leave behind. The best thing about this new addition to the Swiffer family is it acts kinda like a vaccuum and yet doesn’t need a cord or batteries! It’s really easy for my 5 year old to grab it and clean up the mess under the table and I love the fact that he doesn’t have to get messy with a dustpan and brush.
Review of the Swiffer Sweep & Trap
Again, I LOVE my Swiffer products. We’ve got the original Swiffer, the WetJet and the 360 dusters and I use them a lot in my cleaning routine. While I love the idea of this Sweep & Trap, I found it a little tricky to manoeuvr around. Once I’d caught the dirt I found myself struggling to keep it in! Maybe it’s just me but I think I prefer my original Swiffer and a dustpan ALTHOUGH I will say that this is perfect to help kids with chores as Isaac really enjoys it and does a great job! What I also love is that you don’t need to plug it in or charge it up which makes it perfect for little messes and I’m glad I have it in my cupboard for quick clean up!
I blog with integrity: While SheSpeaks and Swiffer approached me to do this review my opinion remains my own!
