Every week I post a new crock pot recipe which is why I decided to do a roundup of the Best Crock Pot Recipes 2013. This list is based on the things that got pinned the most, commented on and generally shared a ton over the course of the year. I hope you enjoy the best crock pot recipes 2013 from Mummy Deals and feel free to pin, share or comment to let us know which ones you’ve tried!
For more crock pot recipes that I’ve personally tried and we as a family love, check out my Slow Cooker Mondays section. Happy Slow Cooking in 2014!
With over 400 repins on Pinterest and counting, this Crock Pot S’mores Cake quickly became a reader favorite and why not? I served it at our mini church and we loved it!
Coming in a close second to the S’mores was this Clean Eating Crock Pot Bread. Yuppers, you can make bread in the crock pot that’s additive free and still yummy! I add mine to my breadmaker on the dough cycle and then add to the crock pot to bake. Perfect for warm days when you don’t want your oven on!
If you don’t like potato salad you’ll probably like this Slow Cooker Hot German Potato Salad Recipe! Sick of the mayo and cold potato salad?! I don’t know about you but I’m not a big fan and so recently I made this new slow cooker recipe and tried it out on my friends. Yup, it’s fun to have guinea pigs! Guess what my friend Lynda said, “I don’t like regular potato salad but this is great!”
My Husband loves a good Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich so I figured I’d give it a whirl in my trusty slow cooker and made a Crock Pot Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich.
If you’re looking for a new recipe then my friend Lynda created Slow Cooker Jalapeno Popper Chicken from a simple Jalapeno Popper Dip and it’s delish!
Maybe it’s just me but 2013 felt like the year of bacon. Perhaps it’s only fitting then that this Slow Cooker Bacon Wrapped Chicken recipe got so much loving from ya’ll!
I wanted an overnight breakfast recipe so Crock Pot French Toast was born. I love the idea of making breakfast or brunch but am not going to wake up at 4am to do it. With this french toast you make it the night before and then just place the pot in your slow cooker and cook for 3 hours on low.
One day I was trawling Pinterest and saw people dipping apples in peanut butter, caramel and even a sugary mix of cream cheese called Hot Apple Pie Dip but when I read the ingredients I wasn’t convinced! It combined cream cheese, sugars and cheddar cheese and I decided it didn’t sound great. What did sound great though was the idea of cream cheese and apples all warmed up in a crock pot so I grabbed my Crock-Pot Little Dipper and started mixing in ingredients until I had a dip which I call the Crock Pot Hot Apple Pie Dip.
The perfect accompaniment to any backyard picnic these Slow Cooker Baked Beans are the perfect side dish!
When I was a teenager I made a lot of baked apples in the microwave as snacks but honestly these Crock pot Baked Apples are far superior. Plus you can put them in the pot and leave them. Mine are not full of extra sugar as I wanted them as a healthy snack for me and the kids but feel free to add extra sugar if ya need!
Our weeks have been really busy with homeschooling and soccer and so Fridays are become special Family Nights which is why last week I made my hubs this Slow Cooker Indian Curry Recipe.
