Starting to day the Navy Pier will have teams of professional sculptors from around the world will create masterpieces out of 10-foot blocks of snow at Gateway Park, located just west of the entrance to Navy Pier, during Navy Pier’s FREE Snow Days and young snowboarders from the Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park USASA Team will demonstrate their skills on a full-size rail and ramp. Watch these young pros jump, twist and slide. Stroll past the carvings then watch dog-sled racing and weight-pulling demonstrations, a snowboard rail jam and kids activities like ice bowling, basketball, hockey, football and snow painting.
