Santa was very good to me this year. Normally I know exactly what I want and as I love little gifts I’m easy to buy for .This year I decided that for the first time ever I’d request a big girl toy; a Smart phone. As I walked into the Sprint store and told the assistant I’d like a phone that I could Tweet on, I had to laugh wondering how many times she got stay at home Mums asking her that. Still in a new age of technology many of us are connected online and a bundle of my Twitter friends are stay at home Mums like me seeking a little therapy away from the day to day of being Mum.
Giddy with delight I opened the new Palm Pixi on December 24th that Hubs bought me (on his own might I add!) I love it’s features. I love the fact that it’s got a keyboard and a touchscreen (unlike it’s competitor who only has an awkward touchscreen). I’m still getting used to it but it’s so nice to be able to check email when I have a few minutes of downtime during the day. I find myself sorting through the junk and then when I hit the computer I can just get down to the nitty gritty.
What about you? Do you have a Smart Phone? Which one would you love? Would it help you as a Mum to organise yourself? I’ve promised to not get addicted to it but love it’s capabilities and love that I’ve finally got my “big girl toy”!
