Menards Deals – Tons for FREE and Tips!

Some more dealios available at Menards especially some free/cheap tools perfect for Father’s Day. These are good thru 6/14/09. If you’ve never done Menards rebates, I highly recommend them. Here’s why:

1) A good friend had his birthday last month. Before that we were sitting around talking one night and I told him Menards rebates were so easy he should try them. His wife wasn’t convinced but our friend replied, “I’d love free tools for my birthday!” I took him up on it and that week went and bought all the freebie items for him. I spent $45 which I’ll get back! On his birthday Hubby handed him the bag of goodies and his eyes lit up. He knew they were free but also knew their value beforehand! he was THRILLED!!! What an awesome birthday treat that cost Hubby and I a little in tax money!

2) My friend and I went to Menards because I wanted to prove to her how easy it was. She kept saying, “We don'[t need this!” I challenged her to think outside the box and she bought her Hubby and her Dad a Father’s Day gift for FREE after rebate! We came home and immediately did the rebates. I timed it. In under 5 minutes she’d got everything in an envelope ready to go!

3) My mother in law often gets the small free after rebate items and puts them in Hubby’s and my brother in law’s stockings!

4) Finally, some family members lost a lot in the recent Munster floods and when they moved in had a housewarming party. We were able to give them a bunch of new free tools to help them start up again!

What to do with all this free stuff from Menards?

* Donate paint brushes and other supplies to Habitat for Humanity.
* Collect tools and put them in a toolbox that you can give to your kids when they get older. It would make a great leaving house gift. (ie, your Dad isn’t just gonna come and fix it for you! LOL!)
* Give a bunch of free tools as a bridal shower gift (more to the groom!) or a house warmer.
