Slow Cooker Jalapeno Popper Chicken

If you’re looking for a new recipe then my friend Lynda created Slow Cooker Jalapeno Popper Chicken from a simple Jalapeno Popper Dip and it’s delish!

Lynda’s Slow Cooker Jalapeno Popper Chicken


  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 x 4oz can diced jalapenos, well drained OR 4-6 fresh jalapenos, roasted and diced
  • 1 8oz package fat free cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup + 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley


  1. In a mixer or by hand, combine cream cheese and sour cream.
  2. Add cheddar cheese, 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, and diced jalapenos, mix well.
  3. Spray your crock pot and add the chicken breasts to the bottom
  4. Spoon the jalapeno popper dip mix over the top.
  5. Mi the breadcrumbs and melted butter together and pour over the top.
  6. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3
