1/12 – 1/31 Museum of Science and Industry FREE
During January Free Days, the museum will host live science demonstrations, interactive exhibits and access to the 2009 Black Creativity exhibit, Green Revolution. The exhibit explores African-American inventions that have aided in going green and is open from Jan. 15-March 1.

The Museum of Science and Industry, 57th Street and Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, is open 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free from Jan. 5-31, but parking is $16. Omnimax film tickets are $7, $5 kids 3-11 and U-505 on-board tours are $6.
