How To Make Caramel Corn

While it takes a little time to make this recipe for Caramel Corn is super simple and totally delicious! My friend and I made a huge batch and devoured it pretty quick 😉


  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 quarts popped popcorn (about 4 bags of microwave corn)
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Wax paper.


  1. Combine butter, sugar, corn syrup in pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the baking soda.
  3. Place the popped corn in a large roaster.
  4. Pour the mix over the popcorn and stir well.
  5. Bake at 200 degrees for one hour, stirring ever 15 minutes.
  6. Spread out on wax paper to cool and set.
