HOT HOT HOT Deal at Jewel: Ice Cream for $.25!!

I posted about this last week but seeing as I’m now the proud owner of quite a but of ice cream, I thought it was worth a re-post for those of you who may not usually shop at Jewel.

Right now the deal is on General Mills, Coke, and Unilever products 6/4-6/17.
Spend $25 get $10 on your next order,
Spend $15 get $5
Spend $10 get $2
The best thing about it as normal with Jewel is that it’s off shelf prices which are even lower with your preferred card! Before heading out, check out these coupons. Thanks, Nicole!

Here is the best deal that doesn’t require newspaper coupons! Yeehah!!! You need to use your preferred card for it and it seems to go better if you use your card after scanning the items.

4 x Breyers ice cream. Any kind! Any!
Total out of pocket: $12
Receive $10 catalina for your next trip.
Final Price: $2 or $.50 each. There was a $1/2 coupon in RP 5/17/09 that would make these onbly $.25 each!

The great thing about this deal is a) It’s summer and we need ice cream and b) It will roll. That means that the next time you go to Jewel you can do the deal again and instead pay with the $10 catalina you just got therefore only spending $2 out of pocket. It will still give you the $10 catalina for next time. Trust me, I tried it for you guys!!!

If you’ve found a great Jewel scenario, please share it below. Especially one that includes Steamers as we need those! Here are the other great deals I spotted!

Welcome if you’re new around here! Please Note: Every week I post the CVS and WAGS matchups by Thursday (Friday at the latest) so come back weekly for a sneaky peek! I also have all the Meijer exclusives here before they hit the Sunday paper so you can plan ahead.

You rock, Clair! This is the type of deal that gets me giddy too!

I've done it twice and will be going back for a 3rd trip today! Can't beat the rolling of the catalina! HA! HA! We are going to have enough ice cream to last through out the summer! What an awesome concept, sounds sort of shaddy when you 1st think of it but it's not! Anyone with graduation parties coming up, birthdays, etc….now is the time to stock up!

How often does Jewel run this spend $25 on certain products and get $10 catalina? I never paid attention before, just started using coupons a month ago! Man, have I been missing out!!

I've also done the ice cream deal twice and will probably go again. I also stocked up on the Klondike Slim a Bear ice cream bars which are a cheap way to buy them right now. The Jewel deal is awesome!!! And you're right it works better before prefered card. Also, there are GM catalina cereal coupons that print out once you buy about 12 boxes.

  4. I looked up Jewel- Osco and did a store locator and it pulled up Albertsons in Gainesville, Fl would this deal work there? Or does the store have to be named Jewel because I have never heard of it and all we have is Albertsons that is around here.

I tried it three times so far. Everytime was fine but this last one wasn't. I tried an ice cream, all and ragu, which seemed like a good one but I bought the big bottle of ragu and not the 2/$3 and it did not work. So make sure you get the right ones!!!

I've gone in for eight jars of Skippy three times now (8 jars at $2 each less the $10 coupon = 8 lbs of pb for $6). I used to think the $1 a jar back to school sale was a steal. Regular price of the Skippy is about $3.25 (8 jars = $26). Jewel doesn't do catalinas often–maybe twice a year–so stock up. Eight more jars should do me until the expirations a year from now…..

  7. I went to Jewel (Acme in my area) to do this deal, but it didn't work. Breyer's is on sale for $4.99 each. I don't understand. What did I do wrong???

  8. Belle and Linda, I just read somewhere that Albertsons and ACME that used to be like Jewel don't have exactly the same deals anymore. Stink! I don;t suppose it's worth you flying here! Plus the deal is now done but let's see what they come up with next!!
