Homemade Pumpkin Pie Coffee Syrup is not only easy to make but it’s inexpensive too. Last year at Chez Boone we tried to do a lot more homemade Christmas gifts and when I thought about the men in my life I automatically though about homemade syrup recipes so I made a bunch including this homemade pumpkin pie syrup which became one of my favorites.
As well as coffee homemade syrups can be used on pancakes although it is quite thin. Maybe thicken with some honey!
These recipes for homemade syrups all start from a simple syrup which is made by combining sugar and water in a pan and bringing it to the boil. After that you simply add the flavors. I think homemade coffee syrups make great teacher gifts, hostess gifts and more.
