Xtreme Bugs: May 19-September 7
This summer, Brookfield Zoo literally will be crawling with Xtreme Bugs in a temporary exhibit. It will feature more than 20 animatronic bugs, including a Japanese hornet measuring 32 feet long and 16 feet high that will be displayed in the zoo’s Roosevelt Fountain.
World Oceans Day: Friday June 8 2012
Come celebrate the oceans’ wide array of wonders and resources, and consider ways that each of us can help with ocean conservation.
Kratt Brothers Show: Sunday June 10
Chris and Martin Kratt, stars of the PBS show Wild Kratts, will be visiting Brookfield Zoo and doing two shows at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

The Brookfield chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) is hosting Animal Enrichment Day at Brookfield Zoo to demonstrate to guests how staff uses various objects and treats to enrich the lives of animals in their care daily.
