One of my favorite recipes ever is the Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball. With Superbowl Sunday just around the corner I know many of you are searching around for football recipes and therefore today I tried and made the cheese ball into a football. My friend and I tested it. Hey, it’s all for you guys, right???!!!
This recipe for a chocolate chip cheese ball is perfect to divide into 2. Keep one in the freezer for busy times and serve the other one.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream Cheese
- 1/2 C butter
- 3/4 C powdered sugar
- 2 TBS brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 C mini choc chips
- Brown chocolate sprinkles
- Saran wrap
Instructions
- Blend the cream cheese and butter
- Add the sugars and vanilla.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Shape into a ball and then wrap in plastic wrap.
- Make into a pretty ball and then place in the fridge for 1 hour to harden a little.
- Serve with small wafers, animal crackers or teddy grahams.
Once you’ve mixed it cover it with saran wrap and shape into a ball.
Cover and freeze for about 20 minutes. Or if it’s not for today freeze until you need it and defrost for at least 30 minutes.
Remove and cover in sprinkles and serve.
