Farmer’s Markets are Healthy and Cheap!

St. John Farmer’s Market is starting up again as of Sunday May 10! I believe it is from 8 a.m. till 12ish in the parking lot of St. John’s outpatient center (across from Stracks and Target). Go check it out sometime for fresh veggies, fruits, bread and more! Thanks, Stacie for this!

Is there a Farmer’s Market that you live in your neck of the woods? If you’re in CA, TN or anywhere in between leave a comment below and let us know. I’ve got readers all over. Thanks!

Farmers Market every Saturday, (great for Sabboth observers) in Crown Point, IN in the south-east corner of the Square. Live music, and a lot of fun. Also, there is a market in Crete, I believe on Saturdays, and in Thornton, IL on Wednesdays.
Happy Fresh food eating. I believe they start in June.

  3. Our local Farmers Market just reopened 2 weeks ago. It’s located in downtown Little Rock, AR in the RiverMarket Pavilion every Tues. and Sat. from 7 to 3. Saturdays are their biggest days, of course, but Tuesdays are a good day for the working population downtown. They are there from late April thru September. There’s another Farmers Market across the river in North Little Rock but I’ll have to post again as soon as I find out exactly where it’s located. I believe they’re open on Saturdays only but have a lot more organically grown variety.

I LOVE the St. John Market. I set up over there every Sunday. Be sure to swing by and grab some Gardiner! 🙂 And yes, the vendors there ARE cheap! Flowers, bakery items, etc…you just can’t beat it!
