Ok, so it’s not quite English but it is British so it’ll count!! With thanks to the real English Mummy, AKA, my Mum!

Scottish Shortbread

6 OZS FLOUR
4 OZS MARG
1 OZ SUGAR

Mix all ingredients together and then cut into fingers or circles. (It should make about 16 fingers)
Bake in preheated oven at 325 degrees for 10 – 15 minutes

I remember my first American Thanksgiving and I brought shortbread and everyone loved it! You could also put it on a cute tray and give as Christmas gifts.
