English Recipe Corner


I wouldn’t want to disappoint you, Holly; so here’s today’s recipe!!! This one is from a friend in England. Thanks, Fran!

Corn Beef Hash

3lbs potatoes peeled and cut into small pieces-not too small
2 beef stock cubes
1 onion chopped finely
1 can corned beef

chunky bread to serve

  • Boil the potatoes and onion in water until tender
  • Add corned beef (chopped)
  • Stir in stock cubes until nice and thick, simmer for just a few minutes.
  • Serve with either dishes of other seasonal veg (delicious with cabbage) and/or chunks of crusty bread-a great winter warmer!!!
