Yesterday was Superbowl Sunday and although I took these Skinny Superbowl Snack to the party we went to I wanted to bring something else so I made Crock Pot Taco Pretzels. Not only did Hubs love them but it was a great way to use stale urm…slightly older pretzels! It’s an easy recipe made in your slow cooker and although they taste best warm, they were great on their own.  So for Slow Cooker Mondays I introduce a new favorite in our house!

First off though have you heard of this new awesome crock pot from the original makers of Crock Pot? The Crock-Pot Hook Up Connectable Entertaining System, Double Oval 1-quart makes entertaining a breeze as you can have lots of different pots going at once full of hot yummy dips or snacks to nibble on.

Crock Pot Taco Pretzels Ingredients

1 bag of pretzels – around 320 grams
1 cup of olive oil
1 TBS of homemade taco seasoning or about 1 small package

Crock Pot Pretzels Directions

  1. Spray the crock pot with coking spray.
  2. Add the ingredients and stir well to coat the pretzels.
  3. Cook on low for 2-3 hours stirring about every half an hour to prevent burning.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
