Why take up room in your oven with stuffing when you could make delicious Crock pot Stuffing using this Crock Pot Stuffing Recipe. Although I’m going to share with you a crock pot stuffing recipe I have something that will make it even easier – simply adding your favorite stuffing mix to the crock pot.  I tried it out for you with the Aldi Whole Wheat stuffing and simply added all the ingredients it asked for into my crock pot. 

Make sure you spray the pot well with butter spray and add the butter or margarine on top to ensure it gets moist.

Now onto that homemade recipe.

Crock Pot Stuffing Recipe


  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 lb. loaf of bread, broken into small pieces
  • 3/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 3/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3 c. chicken broth
  • 2 eggs, well beaten


  1. Mix butter, onion, celery, spices, broth and eggs.
  2. Add bread.
  3. Add to greased crock pot.
  4. Cook on high 45 minutes, then on low about 4 to 5 hours.
  5. Stir after the first 45 minutes and again 2 or 3 times during cooking.
