Last week I was trawling Pinterest and saw people dipping apples in peanut butter, caramel and even a sugary mix of cream cheese called Hot Apple Pie Dip but when I read the ingredients I wasn’t convinced! It combined cream cheese, sugars and cheddar cheese and I decided it didn’t sound great. What did sound great though was the idea of cream cheese and apples all warmed up in a crock pot so I grabbed my Crock-Pot Little Dipper and started mixing in ingredients until I had a dip. Then as any good blogger would do I ran outside and took cutesie pictures for you and finally got inside to eat some.
OH. MY. STARS.
The kids and I couldn’t stop eating the stinking stuff and honestly I was glad when it was nap/rest time as then I wouldn’t have to share anymore with them (wait did I just say that out loud?) Anyway, this stuff was good. As I’m gluten-free I cut up apple wedges to eat mine with (made me feel like it was healthy too!) and served the kiddos with Graham Crackers.
Oh yes, Crock Pot Hot Apple Pie Dip is the perfect fall dip that will be around our house during winter, Spring and long into summer!!
For any of the dips I make I LOVE LOVE my Crock-Pot 32041-C 16-Ounce Little Dipper, Chrome! You can grab one too using the linky and it’s on sale!
