Crock Pot BBQ Pork Sandwiches

Crock Pot BBQ Pork Sandwich

Ever since I was in Dallas last year I’ve had a hankering for good bbq so what better way than trying some Crock Pot BBQ Pork Sandwiches one summer night for dinner?

Last week I slow cooked a pork roast and added some of the Copycat BW3 Sweet BBQ sauce. I served some in a bun and then made some baked potatoes to go with them too. In Dallas they served HUGE baked potatoes with bbq pork in it. Yum-o so that’s how I ate mine (that and coleslaw!)

BBQ Pork Sandwiches and Coleslaw is the way you eat these in Alabama according to my dear friend’s Grandma so there ya go: coleslaw all the way!

  • Pork roast
  • 1 1/2 cups of Organic tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce

  1. Wash the pork and place in your slow cooker.
  2. Mix the other ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Pour the bbq sauce over the pork.
  4. Cook on low for around 8-9 hours or high for 4-5. I recommend slow cooking this though on low
  5. Serve with sides like corn on the cob, potatoes or just chips.
