If you view other performances, some are free and at different venues. The Feb 22 performance is at the South Shore Community Center, closer to those of us who live in the south suburbs (although taking the Metra Electric from the South suburbs is a great, inexpensive way to get to the Chicago Symphony, because it has a stop right at the symphony's door, and costs $5 for unlimited rides on the weekends, and about $8 round-trip from Homewood- much cheaper than driving and parking!)

Thanks for this posting- I wouldn't have known about this otherwise.

Although Chicago Theatre tickets are rarely cheap, you can find some great deals on BroadwayinChicago.com/specialdeals. Right now you can get Tues, Wed and Thurs performances of Jersey Boys & Dirty Dancing for roughly half price. I wouldn't buy them online, but would call with the code to get the best seats (just ask the operator for the best seats you can get with the code-main floor or front of the first balcony). If you sign up for their e-mail you get advance notice of the deals.

If you can go on a moments notice, you can use hottix.org for reduced last minute tickets.-cvanort@yahoo.com
