How to make a Candy Bar Poem
My Father in law is tricky to buy for but I always hate to just give him a Birthday card which is why this year we got brownie points for this burthday candy bar poem idea and I’m sharing it with you for that hard-to-buy for person on your list or for a fun “Big” birthday gift like a 50th or 60th! A Candy Bar Poem is a message of love filled with candies and is actually really simple to do. A candy bar poem is an easy gift, filled with candies, candy bars, candys, and m&ms.
I remember for my Dad’s 40th my Mum made a candy bar poem and I helped which was easy as I knew English candies. After googling candy poem a couple of weeks ago I got all kind of variations with all kinds of candys I didn’t know and didn’t grow up eating! I had no clue what a Watchamacallit was and have never tried Carefree so I enlisted help at my local Walgreens under the guise of being a foreigner! Anyway for those of you who’d like to borrow the idea here’s how to make a candy bar poem:

Candy Bar Poetry.
You can tailor it to your special person!
People at your age often say WATCHAMACALLIT and have a bad case of BUTTERFINGERS. There’s no SNICKERS at you though! You always know the SKOR and are a real SMARTIE. You’re a LIFESAVER to so many.
If we had 100 GRAND we’d take you on a shopping SPREE downtown, to the SYMPHONY or better yet a trip to the MILKY WAY. Alas our PAYDAY isn’t big enough so we’ll just say Happy Birthday! We love you MOUNDS!
